Warsito, Deputy Minister of the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Cultural Affairs of Indonesia, Ahmad Saufi, Assistant Deputy Minister and Director of Vocational and Higher Education Department of the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Cultural Affairs of Indonesia, Yan Bingchen, Deputy Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group and Deputy Director-General of the Department of Education of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Luo Yaoguang, Director of the Foreign Cooperation and Exchange Division of the Education Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Gan Jinming, Deputy Secretary of the CPC LZPU Committee and President of LZPU, and Qu Fan, Vice President of LZPU, attended the meeting. They had in-depth discussions on the educational exchanges and cooperation between Guangxi and Indonesia.

According to Warsito, China and Indonesia share the common goal of developing technical and vocational education and training, so this exchange is a very good opportunity. Warsito introduced the Indonesian government's plan for the construction of the new capital. He believed that while strengthening the infrastructure construction, the government should carry out human resources training simultaneously in the new capital. From his point of view, as the Guangxi Government and LZPU have successful experience in technical and vocational education and training and deep cooperation with Indonesia, the mode of industry-education integration is a model that Indonesia needs to learn from. He hoped to continue in-depth cooperation with the Guangxi Government and LZPU.

Yan Bingchen introduced the development of education in China and Guangxi, especially that of technical and vocational education and training, to Indonesian leaders. He also introduced the expectation of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China for Guangxi to make good use of its geographical advantages and carry out cooperation with ASEAN. He hoped that LZPU would take full advantage of ICVEEP to carry out higher-level cooperation with polytechnic universities in Indonesia, promote industry-education integration between enterprises in Guangxi and companies and universities in Indonesia, and pool resources from Indonesia and Guangxi, thus promising a better future for students in Indonesia and Guangxi. He said that the Department of Education of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region will continue to guide the implementation of ICVEEP, hoping that the Indonesian government can support the construction of the China-ASEAN Institute of Modern Craftsmanship, strengthen the cooperative talent training featuring "Chinese + Vocational Skills", and jointly explore the talent training of "Chinese + Indonesian + Vocational Skills". He invited Indonesian leaders to attend this year's World Vocational and Technical Education Development Conference and next year's Dialogue on International TVET Cooperation and Development (China-ASEAN) in Guangxi.

Gan Jinming introduced the construction of the China-Indonesia Institute of Modern Craftsmanship of Intelligent Vehicle in cooperation with LiuGong Machinery Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "LiuGong") and Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya, Indonesia. He believed that the international integration of industry and education among schools and enterprises has not only boosted the employment of Indonesian youth, and supported the development of Chinese enterprises in Indonesia, but also effectively promoted the cooperation between the two countries in TVET. He also gave a detailed introduction to ICVEEP entrusted by the Forum Direktur Politeknik Negeri se-Indonesia, hoping that the Indonesian government will continue to support the implementation of the program.

It is reported that this meeting was held during the launching ceremony of ICVEEP. In order to implement the commitment of Premier Li Qiang on building 10 China-ASEAN Institutes of Modern Craftsmanship in ASEAN countries at the 26th China-ASEAN Summit and support the development of Guangxi enterprises in Indonesia, LZPU was responsible for the construction of the first China-ASEAN Institute of Modern Craftsmanship with the support of the Department of Education of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Since the establishment of the project, LZPU and LiuGong have cooperated to complete the construction of 2 training centers in Indonesia, trained and certified 29 Indonesian teachers, finished the tailored training of 155 students, and shared more than 50 standards and teaching materials, making the China-ASEAN Institute of Modern Craftsmanship a model for TVET cooperation between the two countries. Entrusted by the Forum Direktur Politeknik Negeri se-Indonesia, LZPU leads vocational universities in Indonesia and China to jointly implement ICVEEP. It is an important measure for the China-ASEAN Institute of Modern Craftsmanship to give full play to its advantages as a high-quality cooperation platform, integrate resources, expand exchanges, and deepen TVET cooperation between the two countries.
